Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve iOS applications using Swift and UIKit.
• Work on user-facing features for a high-scale B2C mobile product.
• Implement clean, reusable, and maintainable iOS code.
• Integrate REST APIs using URLSession or similar networking approaches.
• Handle JSON parsing, local data storage, and app state management.
• Work with Core Data for local persistence where required.
• Implement responsive layouts using Auto Layout.
• Use multithreading concepts such as GCD to ensure smooth app performance.
• Follow app architecture patterns such as MVC or MVVM.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences.
• Use Git for version control and team collaboration.
• Debug, test, and optimize iOS applications for performance and reliability.

Mandatory Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in iOS app development.
• Minimum 6 months of hands-on iOS development experience; internship experience is acceptable for freshers.
• Must have built at least two iOS applications.
• Live apps on the App Store will be a strong plus.
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift and UIKit.
• Good understanding of iOS fundamentals including:
  • Core Data
  • URLSession / networking
  • JSON parsing
  • Multithreading using GCD
  • Auto Layout
• Comfortable with at least one iOS architecture pattern such as MVC or MVVM.
• Hands-on experience with Git.
• Prior experience or internship in a strong B2C product company is mandatory.
• B.Tech from a Tier-1 institute such as IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, IIIT, or equivalent premier engineering institute.

Good to Have

• Published apps on the App Store.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party SDK integrations.
• Understanding of app performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of unit testing or debugging tools in Xcode.
• Exposure to Swift Package Manager, CocoaPods, or other dependency managers.
