Legal Officer

Our client, a reputed organization in the development sector, is looking to hire a mid-level legal professional with 5–7 years of experience for its office in Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. The role focuses on handling contractual matters (drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing), particularly infrastructure/constructions projects, litigation, regulatory advisory and real estate (land purchase) matters. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of contracts including EPC, Design & Build, consultancy, GCC, bids/RFPs, services, procurement agreements, MOUs, work orders, POs and NDAs. Provide post-execution support on compliance, amendments, breach and termination matters, and maintain the contract repository. Handle civil and commercial litigation and arbitration matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings and responses, coordinating with external counsel, and advising on legal notices and implications. Advise on corporate, governance, data privacy and FCRA compliance, identify legal risks, and recommend practical risk mitigation strategies.
